Merial World Rabies Day Symposium

 
 
The Merial World Rabies Day Symposium at Tufts University will bring together a One Health audience comprised of veterinary and medical students, faculty and practicing veterinarians and will focus on the importance of rabies prevention and control at the global, national, state and local levels, as well as human and animal rabies epidemiology, diagnosis and surveillance issues.

Symposium Date: Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 8am to 5pm

Why: Each year, this Merial-sponsored Symposium is awarded to one Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (SCAVMA) to recognize great achievement in raising awareness for rabies as part of World Rabies Day. Tufts University won the 2010 Symposium by having the highest percentage of students participate in their 2009 World Rabies Day event
