1. Quiz Competition: local colleges from Shimla. 2. Seminars: Seminars will be organized by Department of Community Medicine for undergraduate and post graduate medical students, nurses and paramedical staff, and also colleges of Shimla city. 3. Awareness rallies by medical /dental and nursing students and public and private schools of Shimla. 4. Poster competition: A poster competition will be conducted by school students of Shimla at Padam Dev Complex. 5. Distribution and display of attractive posters and pamphlets of warning signs will be done at strategic locations i.e. main market places, hospitals, pan shops etc. 6. Advertisements on hospital campus,local cable network, All India radio highlighting the World Rabies Day 2010. 7. Press conference on 27th Sept on the Eve of World rabies Day 2010.
